About This Cable

This 6mm black solar DC cable is purpose-built for the negative conductor in photovoltaic system wiring. The colour coding — red for positive, black for negative — is the South African solar installation standard that helps with circuit identification, fault-finding, and future maintenance of your system.

How to Order

Add the number of metres you need to your cart. For example, for a 10-metre run, add quantity 10. Cable is supplied as a continuous cut from the roll.

Order Red and Black Together

Solar DC string wiring requires both a positive (red) and negative (black) conductor. Most installations require equal lengths of each colour. Add the same quantity of both the red and black 6mm cables to complete your DC wiring set.
