1. Company Details
PowerVault (Pty) Ltd is a South African registered company. Our website is powervaultza.co.za. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
2. Products and Pricing
All prices displayed on our website are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT at 15% unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. Prices at the time of your confirmed order are binding.
Product images and specifications are provided for illustrative purposes. We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee that descriptions are error-free. In the event of a material error, we will contact you before processing your order.
3. Orders and Payment
An order is confirmed only once payment is received in full. We accept payment via PayFast (credit/debit card, EFT, Instant EFT). Payment must be completed within 24 hours of placing an order, failing which the order may be cancelled.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including if a product becomes unavailable or if pricing errors occur.
4. Delivery
Delivery is free on orders over R5,000. For orders below R5,000, a delivery fee applies as quoted at checkout. Delivery timeframes are estimated and not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to the customer upon delivery. Please refer to our Shipping Policy for full details.
5. Returns and Refunds
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for unused, undamaged products in original packaging. Please refer to our Returns and Refund Policy for full details, exclusions, and the return process.
6. Warranty
All products are sold with the manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty claims must be directed to PowerVault in the first instance. We will facilitate warranty repairs or replacements with the relevant manufacturer. Warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, or acts of nature.
7. Limitation of Liability
PowerVault’s liability for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the purchase price of the product in question. We are not liable for consequential, indirect, or special damages, including loss of income or power supply interruptions.
We strongly recommend that solar installations are performed by a qualified electrician. PowerVault is not responsible for damages arising from incorrect installation.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on powervaultza.co.za — including text, images, logos, and product descriptions — is the property of PowerVault or its licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission.
9. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to first attempt resolution by good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to South African law and the jurisdiction of South African courts.
11. Consumer Protection Act
These terms are subject to the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under the CPA.
