We want you to be completely satisfied with your PowerVault purchase. If something is not right, we will do our best to make it right — quickly and without unnecessary hassle.

Return Window

You may return most items within 30 days of the delivery date for a full refund or exchange, provided the item is unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging.

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact us at returns@powervaultza.co.za or via our contact form with your order number and reason for return.
  2. Our team will issue a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number within 2 business days.
  3. Package the item securely in its original packaging and include the RMA number clearly on the outside of the parcel.
  4. Ship the item to our warehouse address (provided with your RMA). Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error or a product defect.
  5. Once received and inspected, your refund or exchange will be processed within 5–7 business days.

Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. EFT refunds are processed within 3–5 business days after approval. Credit card refunds may take 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item for a different product or size, contact us and we will advise on availability and process the exchange. Any price difference will be charged or refunded accordingly.

Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.

Items Not Eligible for Return

  • Items that have been installed or used
  • Items returned without original packaging or accessories
  • Custom-ordered or special-order items (unless defective)
  • Software, licences, or consumable items once opened
  • Items damaged due to incorrect installation or misuse

Warranty Claims

Warranty claims are separate from our return policy. If your product develops a fault after the 30-day return window, it may still be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. Contact us and we will assist with the warranty claim process on your behalf.

Consumer Protection Act

These terms are subject to the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. If a product has a defect within 6 months of purchase, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under the CPA.
